AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH KONE, INC. REGARDING ELEVATOR PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES AT VARIOUS COUNTY LOCATIONS

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of General Services has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Kone, Inc. regarding Elevator Preventive Maintenance and Emergency Services at various County locations in the amount of $388,620 for a term commencing January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2028, and
WHEREAS, The Department of General Services, using the US Communities National Cooperative Contract, has recommended Kone, Inc. regarding Elevator Preventive Maintenance and Emergency Services at various County locations, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Kone, Inc., Albany, NY 12205 regarding Elevator Preventive Maintenance and Emergency Services at various County locations in the amount of $388,620 for a term commencing January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2028, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
