RESOLUTION NO. 401

 

AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH CAYUGA CENTERS REGARDING THE MULTISYSTEMIC THERAPY PROGRAM

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department for Children, Youth and Families has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Cayuga Centers regarding the Multisystemic Therapy Program in an amount not to exceed $578,947 for a term commencing January 1, 2024 and ending December 31, 2024, which is the final one-year option to renew, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner has indicated that the Cayuga Centers will continue the Multisystemic Therapy Program, a well-supported evidence based program, to help support the complex needs of families and youth at risk of further penetrating the juvenile justice system and entering foster care, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Cayuga Centers, Auburn, NY 13021 regarding the Multisystemic Therapy Program in an amount not to exceed $578,947 for a term commencing January 1, 2024 and ending December 31, 2024, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
