RESOLUTION NO. 15

 

AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE NEW YORK STATE  UNIFIED COURT SYSTEM REGARDING CUSTODIAL AND BUILDING MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR THE ALBANY COUNTY COURTHOUSE, JUDICIAL CENTER AND FAMILY COURT

                     By Public Works Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 453 for 2018, this Honorable Body authorized a five-year agreement with the New York State Unified Court System in the amount of $3,657,410 for the provision of custodial services, building maintenance, and minor repairs at the Albany County Courthouse, Judicial Center and Family Court for a term commencing April 1, 2018 and ending March 31, 2023, with a provision for a separate one-year contract for each year, and

 

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner has requested authorization to execute the fifth and final year of the aforementioned agreement with the New York State Unified Court System for the provision of custodial services, building maintenance and minor repairs at the aforementioned locations in the amount of $742,815 for a term commencing April 1, 2022 and ending March 31, 2023, now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into the fifth and final year of the aforementioned five-year agreement with New York State Unified Court System for the provision of custodial services, building maintenance and minor repairs at the aforementioned locations in the amount of $742,815 for a term commencing April 1, 2022 and ending March 31, 2023, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreements as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
