AMENDING THE 2026 ALBANY COUNTY BUDGET: ADMINISTRATIVE ADJUSTMENTS FOR SMALL BUSINESS AND ARTS AND CULTURE INITIATIVES

WHEREAS, The Albany County Legislature and the County’s Executive’s Office are requesting an amendment to the 2026 Albany County Budget to accomplish programmatic initiatives related to their small business and arts and culture initiatives through the Advance Albany County Alliance; and
WHEREAS, This shall accomplish the following: (1) Transfer $200,000 to the Department of Economic Development’s Arts & Culture Support line (A9-8020-44484-10000), (2) Transfer $200,000 to the Department of Economic Development’s Small Business Initiative line (A9-8020-44516-LEG26), 3) commits an additional $100,000 from the Albany County Improvement Initiative (A9-8020-44976-10000) for the Department of Economic Development’s Small Business Initiative, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the 2026 Albany County Budget is hereby amended as follows:
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
