AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 107 SPAWN HOLLOW ROAD (TAX MAP NO. 132.00-1-43) IN THE TOWN OF BETHLEHEM

By Audit and Finance Committee:
WHEREAS, The County of Albany has acquired through in rem foreclosure title to real property located at 107 Spawn Hollow Road (Tax Map No. 132.00-1-43) in the Town of Bethlehem, and
WHEREAS, Lisa Shutter and David Albright, owners of an abutting property, have expressed an interest in acquiring the parcel for $1,000, and
WHEREAS, Revisions to the County’s Real Property Disposition Plan approved by Resolution No. 29 for 2019 allow for properties to be sold to abutting property owners, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to execute on behalf of the County any and all documents necessary to convey real property located at 107 Spawn Hollow Road (Tax Map No. 132.00-1-43) in the Town of Bethlehem to Lisa Shutter and David Albright, 32 Locust Drive, Selkirk, NY 12158 for $1,000, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That Lisa Shutter and David Albright shall be responsible for all closing costs as well as a pro-rated share of any and all property taxes owed on the property at the time of closing, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said conveyance as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
