AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH TRACEY ROAD EQUIPMENT, INC. REGARDING THE PURCHASE OF THREE WESTERN STAR TANDEM AXLE DUMP TRUCK CABS AND CHASSIS

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of Public Works has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Tracey Road Equipment, Inc. regarding the purchase of three Western Star Tandem Axle Dump Truck cabs and chassis in an amount not to exceed $510,363 for a term commencing April 15, 2026 and ending April 14, 2027, and
WHEREAS, The proposed purchase is necessary to replace existing equipment that has exceeded its useful life, and
WHEREAS, Tracey Road Equipment, Inc. has been contracted under the Onondaga County equipment contract, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Tracey Road Equipment, Inc., East Syracuse, NY 13057 regarding the purchase of three Western Star Tandem Axle Dump Truck cabs and chassis in an amount not to exceed $510,363 for a term commencing April 15, 2026 and ending April 14, 2027, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
