AMENDING THE 2025 DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS BUDGET:  SOLAR CREDITS

 

                     Introduced: 8/11/25

By Public Works Committee:

 

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 168 for 2023, this Honorable Body authorized

a Power Purchasing Agreement with Calibrant NY II, LLC regarding the purchase of the energy generated by a solar array at 897 Watervliet Shaker Road in the Town of Colonie for a term of twenty-five years, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of Public Works has requested a budget amendment regarding solar credits received from National Grid in connection with the ongoing operational and maintenance cost to operate the aforementioned solar array, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the 2025 Department of Public Works Budget is hereby amended as follows:

 

 

and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
