AUTHORIZING LICENSE AGREEMENTS WITH THE ALBANY COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY AND THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION REGARDING THE REMOVAL OF PROBLEMATIC VEGETATION

WHEREAS, The Albany County Executive has requested authorization to enter into license agreements with the Albany County Airport Authority and the Federal Aviation Administration for the removal of problematic vegetation located around the radar tower for the Airport, and
WHEREAS, The County Executive has indicated that license agreements are necessary to carry out the clearing and removal of the vegetation surrounding the radar tower, and that such maintenance will be at no cost to the County, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature, that the County Executive is hereby authorized to enter into license agreements with the Albany County Airport Authority and the Federal Aviation Administration for the removal of problematic vegetation located around the radar tower for the Airport, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
