RESCINDING AUTHORIZATION TO CONVEY REAL PROPERTY PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION NO. 439 FOR 2020 AND AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF 19 LEXINGTON AVENUE (TAX MAP NO. 65.56-3-38) IN THE CITY OF ALBANY

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 439 for 2020, this Honorable Body authorized the conveyance of various parcels of real property acquired through in rem foreclosure to the Albany County Land Bank Corporation, including 19 Lexington Avenue (Tax Map No. 65.56-3-38) in the City of Albany, and
WHEREAS, TBE Property Management, LLC, an abutting property owner, has expressed an interest in acquiring this parcel, and have indicated plans to clean up and rehabilitate the property to help provide housing for veterans, and
WHEREAS, The Albany County Real Property Disposition Plan, adopted by Resolution No. 29 for 2019, implemented procedures for properties to be sold to abutting property owners, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature, that Resolution No. 439 for 2020 is hereby amended by rescinding the authorization to convey 19 Lexington Avenue (Tax Map No. 65.56-3-38) in the City of Albany, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Executive is authorized to execute on behalf of the County any documents necessary to convey 19 Lexington Avenue (Tax Map No. 65.56-3-38) in the City of Albany, to TBE Property Management, LLC, 17 Lexington Avenue, Albany, NY 12207, for the amount of $9,000, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That TBE Property Management, LLC shall be responsible for all closing costs, a pro-rated portion of the 2020-2021 Albany School taxes, a pro-rated portion of the 2021 Property taxes, and all taxes, water and sewer and other charges billed on and after the date of the closing, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said conveyance as to form and content, and, be it further
