RESOLUTION NO. 409

 

AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH MOBILITY DEVELOPMENT OPERATIONS, LLC REGARDING ACCESS TO ONE PARKING SPOT AND CHARGING STATION AT THE COUNTY’S 260 SOUTH PEARL STREET PARKING LOT

                     By Public Works Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, The County Executive has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Mobility Development Operations, LLC (MDO) regarding access to one parking space and charging station in the County’s 260 Pearl Street parking lot for a term commencing November 15, 2022 and ending November 14, 2023, and

 

WHEREAS, The County Executive has indicated that the agreement provides MDO with access to the parking space and charging station in cooperation with the Capital District Transportation Authority to operate an electric vehicle car-share program in the Capital Region, and

 

WHEREAS, The County Executive has also indicated that the County will have the ability to use the vehicle for municipal purposes when it is available, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Mobility Development Operations, LLC, Chicago, IL 60618 regarding access to one parking space and charging station in the County’s 260 Pearl Street parking lot for a term commencing November 15, 2022 and ending November 14, 2023, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
