AUTHORIZING A LEASE AGREEMENT REGARDING 380 FOX CREEK ROAD IN THE TOWN OF RENSSELAERVILLE FOR EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SERVICES OPERATIONS

WHEREAS, The Albany County Sheriff has requested authorization to enter into a lease agreement with the Town of Rensselaerville regarding a building located at 380 Fox Creek Road, Medusa, NY for use by the Sheriff’s Office to house the emergency medical services unit, and

 

WHEREAS, The proposed term of the lease will be for an initial term of five years commencing February 1, 2019 and ending January 31, 2024 followed by three optional five-year renewals subject to the authorization of the Albany County Legislature, at an annual rent of $12 payable in equal monthly installments of $1 per month over the term of the lease, now, therefore be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into a lease agreement with the Town of Rensselaerville regarding a building located at 380 Fox Creek Road, Medusa, NY for use by the Sheriff’s Office to house the emergency medical services unit for an initial term  commencing February 1, 2019 and ending January 31, 2024 followed by three optional five-year renewals subject to the authorization of the Albany County Legislature, at an annual rent of $12 payable in equal monthly installments of $1 per month over the term of the lease, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve lease agreement and related documentation as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
