AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH COMMUNITY MATERNITY SERVICES REGARDING THE PROVISION OF CLINICAL PREVENTION SERVICES WITH COMMUNITY AND RECREATIONAL SUPPORTS

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department for Children, Youth and Families has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Community Maternity Services regarding the provision of Clinical Prevention Services with Community and Recreational Supports in an amount not to exceed $428,561 for a term commencing January 1, 2023 and ending December 31, 2023, with an additional one-year option to renew, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner has indicated that the Community Maternity Service’s Clinical Prevention Services Program offers a full array of services designed to prevent children and youth from entering foster care, and to provide services for youth discharged from foster care and their families, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Community Maternity Services, Albany, NY 12203 regarding Clinical Prevention Services with Community and Recreational Supports in an amount not to exceed $428,561 for a term commencing January 1, 2023 and ending December 31, 2023, with an additional one-year option to renew, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
