AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH ELLIS HOSPITAL REGARDING MORGUE AND LABORATORY SERVICES

WHEREAS, Ellis Hospital is a comprehensive health science center with extensive experience providing state-of-the-art morgue and laboratory services to Albany County, and
WHEREAS, The Albany County Coroner has requested to enter into a two-year agreement with Ellis Hospital for morgue and laboratory services in an amount not to exceed $430,000 for a term commencing January 1, 2023 and ending December 31, 2024, now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the Albany County Executive is authorized to enter into a two-year agreement with Ellis Hospital, Schenectady, NY 12308 for morgue and laboratory services in an amount not to exceed $430,000 for a term commencing January 1, 2023 and ending December 31, 2024, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
