AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH CFG MEDICAL SERVICES REGARDING MEDICAL CARE AT THE ALBANY COUNTY CORRECTIONAL FACILITY

                     By Public Safety Committee:

 

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 305 for 2021, this Honorable Body authorized a five-year agreement with CFG Medical Services regarding medical care at the Albany County Correctional Facility, and

 

WHEREAS, The Albany County Sheriff has requested authorization to enter into the second year of this five-year agreement for inmate medical care at the Albany County Correctional Facility with CFG Medical Services in an amount not to exceed $5,743,317 for the term commencing January 1, 2023 and ending December 31, 2023, now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into the second year of a five-year agreement for inmate medical care at the Albany County Correctional Facility with CFG Medical Services, Marlton, NJ 08053 in an amount not to exceed $5,743,317 for the term commencing January 1, 2023 and ending December 31, 2023, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
