AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH CIVES CORPORATION, DBA VIKING CIVES (USA) REGARDING THE PURCHASE OF THREE WESTERN STAR 47X TANDEM AXLE EQUIPMENT PACKAGES

By Public Works Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of Public Works has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Cives Corporation, d/b/a Viking Cives (USA) regarding the purchase of three Western Star 47X Tandem Axle equipment packages in an amount not to exceed $388,976 for a term commencing April 1, 2026 and ending March 31, 2027, and

 

                     WHEREAS, Cives Corporation d/b/a Viking Cives (USA) has been contracted under the Onondaga County equipment contract, now, therefore, be it                     

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Cives Corporation, d/b/a Viking Cives (USA), Harrisville, NY 13648 regarding the purchase of three Western Star 47X Tandem Axle equipment packages in an amount not to exceed $388,976 for a term commencing April 1, 2026 and ending March 31, 2027, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
