AUTHORIZING A NEW YORK STATE STANDARDIZED AGREEMENT WITH CENTRAL HUDSON GAS AND ELECTRIC FOR INTERCONNECTION OF UTILITY SYSTEMS

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of Public Works has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Central Hudson Gas and Electric for interconnection of utility systems to install solar panels on the new Coeymans Highway Garage for a term commencing November 1, 2023 and ending November 1, 2024, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner has indicated that the County will install the solar panels under the conditions which Central Hudson Gas and Electric and the County agree that the solar panels may be interconnected to and operated in parallel with Central Hudson’s System, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Central Hudson Gas and Electric, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 for interconnection of utility systems to install solar panels on the new Coeymans Highway Garage for a term commencing November 1, 2023 and ending November 1, 2024, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
