AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 156 FOR 2018 REGARDING THE IMMUNIZATION ACTION PLAN AND AMENDING THE 2020 DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH BUDGET

                     By Health Committee:

 

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 156 for 2018 this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with the New York State Department of Health to provide services in support of the Immunization Action Plan for the period April 1, 2018 through March 31, 2023, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Albany County Department of Health has been notified of supplemental funding for the Immunization Action Plan for the 2020-2021 flu season in an amount not to exceed $67,468 for a term commencing April 1, 2020 and ending March 31, 2021, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner has requested a budget amendment to incorporate $15,000 of the grant funding into the 2020 Department of Health budget with the remaining funds being placed in the 2021 Department of Health budget, now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to accept grant funding from the New York State Department of Health for the Immunization Action Plan in an amount not to exceed $67,468 for a term commencing April 1, 2020 and ending March 31, 2021, and, be it further

 

 RESOLVED, That the 2020 Department of Health Budget is hereby amended as follows:

 

Increase Revenue Account A4407 Immunization Action Plan Grant by $15,000

 

Increase Appropriation Account A4010.2 by $15,000 by increasing line item A4010 2 2600 Medical Equipment by $15,000

 

and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
