AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH TYLER TECHNOLOGIES REGARDING CLOUD MIGRATION OF THE COUNTY’S ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING SYSTEM AND PURCHASE OF ADDITIONAL HUMAN RESOURCE MODULES

WHEREAS, The Chief Information Officer has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Tyler Technologies, Inc. regarding cloud migration of the County’s Enterprise Resource Planning System and the purchase of additional Human Resource modules in an amount not to exceed $681,468 for the term commencing January 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2027, and
WHEREAS, Tyler Technologies, Inc. is the sole source for this software which will integrate with MUNIS, the County’s current Enterprise Resource Planning software, and
WHEREAS, The Chief Information Officer has indicated that the purchase will be made using a combination of American Rescue Plan Act funding awarded to the Department of Human Resources, the Department of Audit and Control, and the Division of Information Services, in addition to County funds, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Tyler Technologies, Inc., Yarmouth, ME 04096 regarding cloud migration of the County’s Enterprise Resource Planning System and the purchase of additional Human Resource modules in an amount not to exceed $681,468 for the term commencing January 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2027, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
