RESOLUTION NO. 9

 

AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH ROMEO TOYOTA REGARDING THE PURCHASE OF 15 TOYOTA PRIUS PLUG-IN HYBRIDS

                     Introduced: 2/9/26

By Public Works Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of General Services has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Romeo Toyota regarding the purchase of fifteen 2026 Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid SE’s in an amount not to exceed $516,890, and

 

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner has indicated that these cars will replace fifteen Ford Focus’s with internal combustion engines, and

 

                     WHEREAS, Through the Purchasing Agent two bids were received and Romeo Toyota was the lowest bidder, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Romeo Toyota, Glens Falls, NY 12801 regarding the purchase of fifteen 2026 Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid SE’s in an amount not to exceed $516,890, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
