AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE TOWN OF GUILDERLAND REGARDING THE USE OF SPACE AND FIBER CONNECTIVITY LOCATED AT 112 STATE STREET

                     By Public Works Committee, Messrs. Feeney, Reidy, Cleary and Miller:

 

                     WHEREAS, The County Chief Information Officer (CIO) has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with the Town of Guilderland regarding the use of space and fiber connectivity located at 112 State Street for a term commencing June 1, 2022 and ending May 31, 2023, with two one-year options to renew, and

 

                     WHEREAS, The CIO has indicated that the Town of Guilderland Technology Department will provide their own equipment to include a firewall, switch, and data storage, as well as support and maintenance at the aforementioned location at no cost to the County, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with the Town of Guilderland regarding the use of space and fiber connectivity located at 112 State Street for a term commencing June 1, 2022 and ending May 31, 2023, with two one-year options to renew, and, be it further

                     

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of the resolution the appropriate County Officials.
