RESOLUTION NO. 41

 

AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 60 SOUTH PEARL STREET (TAX MAP NO. 76.42-4-23) IN THE CITY OF ALBANY

By Audit and Finance Committee:

 

WHEREAS, 60 South Pearl Street (Tax Map No. 76.42-4-23) in the City of Albany is owned by the County of Albany, and

 

WHEREAS, Sequence Development & Spraragen Partners have expressed an interest in acquiring the parcel and has offered to pay $1,750,000 for the property, and

 

WHEREAS, The County Executive’s Office has indicated that Sequence Development & Spraragen Partners intends to develop the parcel for economic development purposes, and

 

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 40 for 2026, this parcel of real property located at 60 South Pearl Street (Tax Map No. 76.42-4-23) in the City of Albany was deemed “no longer necessary for public use” pursuant to County Law § 215 and § 65-3 of the Albany County Code and is therefore eligible to be sold, now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to execute on behalf of the County any documents necessary to convey 60 South Pearl Street (Tax Map No. 76.42-4-23) in the City of Albany to Sequence Development & Spraragen Partners for $1,750,000, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said conveyance as to form and content, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
