AMENDING THE 2020 BOARD OF ELECTIONS BUDGET: ADMINISTRATIVE ADJUSTMENTS

WHEREAS, The Albany County Commissioners of Election have requested to amend the 2020 Board of Elections Budget to adjust the salary level of certain staff members, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioners have indicated that the budget amendment will equalize the salary increase percentage with other members of the Board of Elections staff and the salary increases are justified due to the increase in the level of staff work required to process the increase in absentee ballots, and that such salary increases shall apply retroactively to January 1, 2020, now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the 2020 Board of Elections Budget is hereby amended as follows:
Decrease Appropriation Account A1450.4 by $10,216 by decreasing Line Item A1450 4 4975 Election Day Staffing by $10,216
Increase Appropriation Account A1450.1 by $10,216 by increasing the following line items:
Increase Line Item A1450 1 1115 001 Deputy Commissioner of Elections by $2,190 with an annual salary of $76,642
Increase Line Item A1450 1 1115 002 Deputy Commissioner of Elections by $2,190 with an annual salary of $76,642
Increase Line Item A1450 1 1125 001 Election Education Specialist by $1,476 with an annual salary of $51,688
Increase Line Item A1450 1 1125 002 Election Education Specialist by $1,476 with an annual salary of $51,688
Increase Line Item A1450 1 1749 001 Computer Information Specialist by $1,442 with an annual salary of $50,486
