AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 497 FOR 2025 REGARDING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE NEW YORK STATE OFFICE OF CHILDREN AND FAMILY SERVICES AND AN INTERDEPARTMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE CRIME VICTIM AND SEXUAL VIOLENCE CENTER REGARDING GRANT FUNDING FOR THE CHILD RIGHT: SAFE HARBOR INITIATIVE

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 497 for 2025, this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with the New York State Office of Children and Family Services to accept grant funding in the amount of $40,000 regarding the Child Right: Safe Harbor Initiative for a term commencing January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2026, and,
WHEREAS, An amendment is necessary for the agreement, now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature, that Resolution No. 497 for 2025 is hereby amended by Replacing all instances of “$40,000” with “$16,949”
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreements as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
