AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 176 FOR 2022, AS AMENDED, REGARDING AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT ADVISORY SERVICES AND AMENDING THE 2024 ALBANY COUNTY BUDGET

By Audit and Finance Committee:
WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 176 for 2022, this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with Capital Markets Advisors, LLC regarding American Recovery Plan Act (ARPA) advisory services in an amount not to exceed $180,000 for a term commencing May 15, 2022 and ending April 31, 2024, and
WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 512 for 2022, this Honorable Body authorized an amendment to Resolution No. 176 for 2022 in order to transfer the funds into accounts created with the Comptroller to better track ARPA spending, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of Management and Budget has requested to further amend the agreement with Capital Market Advisors, LLC to reflect an ending date of December 31, 2024 with an additional $63,750, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that Resolution No. 176 for 2022, as amended, is hereby further amended to include an additional $63,750 for a new total amount not to exceed $243,750, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That Resolution No. 176 for 2022, as amended, is also amended to reflect a term ending date of December 31, 2024 rather than April 31, 2024, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to eh appropriate County Officials.
