AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH GREENMAN-PEDERSON, INC. REGARDING DESIGN AND RIGHT-OF-WAY MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THE SOUTH ALBANY ROAD (CR53) OVER ONESQUETHAW CREEK BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT

By Public Works Committee:

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of Public Works has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Greenman-Pederson, Inc. regarding design and right-of-way services for the South Albany Road (CR53) over Onesquethaw Creek Bridge Replacement Project in an amount not to exceed $581,452 for a term commencing January 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2030, and

 

WHEREAS, The Department of Public Works, through the Purchasing Agent, issued a request for bids for design and right-of-way management services and the Department has recommended Greenman-Pederson, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder, now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Greenman-Pederson, Inc., Albany, NY 12205 regarding design and right-of-way services for the South Albany Road (CR53) over Onesquethaw Creek Bridge Replacement Project in an amount not to exceed $581,452 for a term commencing January 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2030, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
