AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH SULLIVAN CONTRACTING, INC. REGARDING ASBESTOS AND LEAD PAINT ABATEMENT SERVICES FOR THE SHAKER HISTORIC VILLAGE EXTERIOR STABILIZATION PROJECT

                     By Public Works Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of General Services has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Sullivan Contracting, Inc. regarding asbestos and lead paint abatement services for the Shaker Historic Village Exterior Stabilization Project in an amount not to exceed $194,120 for a term commencing January 1, 2022 and ending June 30, 2022, and

 

WHEREAS, The Albany County Purchasing Department issued a request for bids for the Shaker Historic Village Exterior Remediation and three bids were received, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of General Services and the County Purchasing Agent reviewed said bids and have recommended awarding the contract to Sullivan Contracting, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Sullivan Contracting, Inc., Sauquoit, NY 13456 regarding asbestos and lead paint abatement services for the Shaker Historic Village Exterior Stabilization Project in an amount not to exceed $194,120 for a term commencing January 1, 2022 and ending June 30, 2022, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
