AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58 FOR 2025 REGARDING GENERAL CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE MVP ARENA LOADING DOCK RENOVATION PROJECT

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 58 for 2025, this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with AOW Construction, LLC regarding general construction services for the MVP Loading Dock Renovation Project in an amount not to exceed $116,050 for a term commencing April 1, 2025 and ending March 31, 2027, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of General Services has requested authorization to amend the agreement with AOW Construction, LLC regarding general construction services for the MVP Arena Loading Dock Renovation Project to include the installation of two new hollow metal frame door assemblies into two existing separate adjacent openings at the MVP Arena, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioner has indicated that the additional cost of $26,176 for the additional services is within the contingency budget approved for this project and that all the terms of the original contract remain in effect, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that Resolution No. 58 for 2025 is hereby amended to include two new hollow metal frame door assemblies into two existing separate adjacent openings at the MVP Arena at no additional cost to the County and that all terms of the original agreement remain in effect, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said amendment as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
