AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 259 FOR 2023 REGARDING THE TITLE III-C-2 HOME DELIVERED MEALS PROGRAM

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 259 for 2023, this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with the New York State Office for the Aging regarding Title III-C-2 Home Delivered Meals Program funding in the amount of $216,242 for the term commencing January 1, 2024 and ending December 31, 2024, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department for Aging has requested an amendment to the aforementioned agreement in the amount of $94,921 to reflect a new total amount of $311,163 for additional home-delivered meal services for older adults in Albany County, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that Resolution No. 259 for 2023 is hereby amended in the amount of $94,921 to reflect a new total amount of $311,163, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said amendment as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
