RESOLUTION NO. 167

 

AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH TRACEY ROAD EQUIPMENT, INC. REGARDING THE PURCHASE OF A SWEEPER TRUCK

 

                     Introduced: 5/12/25

By Public Works Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of Public Works has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Tracey Road Equipment, Inc. regarding the purchase of a sweeper truck in an amount not to exceed $382,900 for a term commencing April 3, 2025 and ending September 30, 2025, and

 

WHEREAS, The proposed purchase is necessary to replace existing equipment that has exceeded its useful life, and

 

                     WHEREAS, Tracey Road Equipment, Inc. will be piggybacked off of the Onondaga County equipment contract, now, therefore, be it                     

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Tracey Road Equipment, Inc., Marcy, NY 13403 regarding the purchase of a sweeper truck in an amount not to exceed $382,900 for a term commencing April 3, 2025 and ending September 30, 2025, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
