RESOLUTION NO. 61

 

AMENDING THE 2026 DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS BUDGET: THE VILLAGE OF VOORHEESVILLE QUIET ZONE

 

                     Introduced: 3/9/26

By Public Works Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of Public Works has requested authorization to amend the 2026 Department of Public Works Budget regarding the Village of Voorheesville Quiet Zone project, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner has indicated that this amendment will reflect the additional $80,000 grant received from the New York State Dormitory Authority for the construction of a quiet zone for the railroad crossing in the Village of Voorheesville, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the 2026 Department of Public Works Budget is hereby amended as follows:

 

 

and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
