AUTHORIZING AGREEMENTS WITH NEW YORK STATE INDUSTRIES FOR THE DISABLED, INC. REGARDING CUSTODIAL SERVICES AT THE FAMILY COURT, JUDICIAL CENTER, AND STEDMAN HOUSE

                     By Public Works Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of General Services has requested authorization to enter into agreements with New York State Industries for the Disabled, Inc. (NYSID), as a preferred provider, regarding custodial and janitorial services at the Family Court in an amount not to exceed $628,218, Judicial Center in an amount not to exceed $510,567, and the Stedman House in an amount not to exceed $28,947 for a term commencing January 1, 2023 and ending December 31, 2025, with two additional one-year renewal options, and

 

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner has indicated that the New York State Unified Court System will reimburse the County at certain percentages for said services during the term and any additional one-year renewal options, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into agreements with NYSID, Albany, NY 12203, as a preferred provider, regarding custodial and janitorial services at the Family Court in an amount not to exceed $628,218, Judicial Center in an amount not to exceed $510,567, and the Stedman House in an amount not to exceed $28,947 for a term commencing January 1, 2023 and ending December 31, 2025, with two additional one-year renewal options, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
