AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 391 FOR 2019 REGARDING THE FY19 STATE HOMELAND SECURITY PROGRAM

 

                     Introduced: 11/14/22

By Health Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 391 for 2019, this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services regarding the FY 2019 State Homeland Security Program in a total amount of $410,171, with the Department of Health receiving $331,171 of said funding, for a term commencing September 1, 2019 and ending August 31, 2022, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Health has requested an amendment to extend the end date of the grant term to August 31, 2023 rather than August 31, 2022, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner has indicated the extension will allow for planning activities for public health training and outreach, and to purchase additional supplies, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, That Resolution No. 391 for 2019 is amended to reflect a term ending August 31, 2023 rather than August 31, 2022, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said amendment as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
