RESCINDING THE CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION NO. 439 FOR 2020 AND AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 236 ONTARIO STREET (TAX MAP NO. 65.61-2-29) IN THE CITY OF ALBANY

WHEREAS, Per Resolution No. 439 for 2020, this Honorable Body authorized the conveyance of various parcels of real property acquired through in rem foreclosure to the Albany County Land Bank Corporation (the "Land Bank"), including 236 Ontario Street (Tax Map No. 65.61-2-29) in the City of Albany, and
WHEREAS, The Albany County Real Property Disposition Plan, adopted by Resolution No. 29 for 2019, implemented procedures for properties to be conveyed to not-for-profit/non-profit entities for use for a public purpose, and
WHEREAS, American Dream Community Partnership, Inc., a non-for-profit, has expressed an interest in acquiring the parcel and has offered to pay $10,000, and plans to rehabilitate the property so it can be offered to underprivileged individuals and families by providing them with affordable housing, now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature, that Resolution No. 439 for 2020 is hereby amended by rescinding the authorization to convey 236 Ontario Street (Tax Map No. 65.61-2-29) in the City of Albany, and be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Executive is authorized to execute on behalf of the County any documents necessary to convey 236 Ontario Street (Tax Map No. 65.61-2-29) in the City of Albany, to American Dream Community Partnership, Inc., for the amount of $10,000, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That American Dream Community Partnership, Inc., shall be responsible for any and all closing costs, as well as a pro-rated share of any current real property taxes owes as of the closing date, and , be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said conveyance as to form and content, and, be it further
