AUTHORIZING A UTILITY EASEMENT AGREEMENT WITH NIAGARA MOHAWK POWER CORPORATION FOR 208 WASHINGTON AVENUE REGARDING CONSTRUCTION AND UTILITY WORK FOR THE INSTALLATION OF VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS

                     By Public Works Committee:

                     

                     WHEREAS, The County Executive has requested authorization to enter into a utility easement agreement with the Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation regarding utility work for the installation of vehicle charging stations on property located at 208 Washington Avenue in the City of Albany for a fee of $1.00 to remain in effect in perpetuity with the property, and

 

WHEREAS, The County Executive has indicated the County plans to install two vehicle charging stations, now, therefore, be it

                     

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into a utility easement agreement with the Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation, Syracuse, NY 13202 regarding utility work for the installation of vehicle charging stations on property located at 208 Washington Avenue in the City of Albany for a fee of $1.00 to remain in effect in perpetuity with the property, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said utility easement agreement as to form and content, and be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
