RESOLUTION NO. 87

 

AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH CAPPELLINO CHEVROLET, INC. FOR THE PURCHASE OF FIVE 2020 CHEVROLET 3500 ONE TON DUMP TRUCKS

                     By Public Works Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of Public Works has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Cappellino Chevrolet, Inc. for the purchase and delivery of five 2020 Chevrolet 3500 One Ton Dump trucks in amount not to exceed $242,249 for a term commencing February 28, 2020 and ending July 31, 2020, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner through the County Purchasing Agent, using the New York State Vehicle Marketplace Mini-Bid contract system, has recommended Cappellino Chevrolet, Inc.as the lowest responsible bidder, now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Cappellino Chevrolet, Inc., Boston, NY 14025 for the purchase and delivery of five 2020 Chevrolet 3500 One Ton Dump trucks in amount not to exceed $242,249 for a term commencing February 28, 2020 and ending July 31, 2020, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
