RESOLUTION NO. 155

 

AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH GDI SERVICES, INC. REGARDING COMMON AREA CLEANING FOR THE MVP ARENA

By Public Works Committee:

 

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 322 for 2022, this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with Atalian US Northeast, LLC regarding common area cleaning for the MVP Arena in an amount not to exceed $1,031,582 annually for the term commencing October 19, 2022 and ending October 18, 2025, with an option to renew for one additional three-year term, and

 

WHEREAS, Atalian US Northeast, LLC has since been acquired by GDI Services, Inc., and

 

WHEREAS, The General Manager of the MVP Arena has requested authorization to enter into the additional three-year agreement with GDI Services, Inc. regarding common area cleaning for the MVP Arena in an amount not to exceed $1,031,582 annually for a term commencing October 1, 2025 and ending September 30, 2028, and

 

WHEREAS, The General Manager indicated that common area cleaning zones include the arena, parking garage and walkway, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into the additional three-year agreement with GDI Services, Inc., Southfield, MI 48075 regarding common area cleaning for the MVP Arena in an amount not to exceed $1,031,582 annually for a term commencing October 1, 2025 and ending September 30, 2028, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content prior to the execution thereof, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
