AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH ST. ANNE INSTITUTE REGARDING THE PROVISION OF SPECIALTY PREVENTION SERVICES FOR JUVENILE SEX OFFENDERS

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Albany County Department for Children, Youth and Families requested authorization enter into an agreement with St. Anne Institute regarding the provision of Specialty Prevention Services in an amount not to exceed $153,618 for a term commencing January 1, 2022 and ending December 31, 2022, with two one-year options to renew, and

 

WHEREAS, The St. Anne Institute Sex Offender Program has proposed to provide specialized clinical and case management services to youth ages ten to eighteen who have engaged in sexually inappropriate, aggressive, or abusive behavior and their families with the purpose of preventing these youth from entering foster care, now, therefore be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with St. Anne Institute, Albany, NY 12206 regarding the provision of Specialty Prevention Services for juvenile sex offenders and their families in an amount not to exceed $153,618 for a term commencing January 1, 2022 and ending December 31, 2022, with two one-year options to renew, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
