AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 286 FOR 2022 REGARDING THE EXPANDED IN-HOME SERVICES FOR THE ELDERLY PROGRAM AND AMENDING THE 2023 DEPARTMENT FOR AGING BUDGET

By Elder Care Committee:

 

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 286 for 2022, this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with the New York State Office for the Aging regarding the Expanded In-Home Services for the Elderly Program (EISEP) in an amount not to exceed $824,665 for the term commencing April 1, 2022 and ending March 31, 2023, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner for the Department for Aging has requested an amendment to the agreement with the New York State Office for the Aging in the amount of $6,032 to reflect a new total amount not to exceed $830,697 rather than $824,665, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner has also requested to amend the 2023 Department for Aging Budget in order to incorporate the additional funding, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that Resolution No. 286 for 2022 is hereby amended in the amount of $6,032 to reflect a new total amount not to exceed $830,697 rather than $824,665, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the 2023 Department for Aging Budget is amended as follows:

 

Increase Revenue Account A6772 0 3781 Expanded In-Home Service Grant by $6,032

 

Increase Appropriation Account A6772.4 by $6,032 by increasing Line Item A6772 4 4425 EISEP by $6,032

 

and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said amendment as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
