AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE CAPITAL REGION TRANSPORTATION COUNCIL REGARDING THE ACTIVE TRANSPORTATION TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE STUDY IN SUPPORT OF THE COMPLETE STREETS STUDY

                     By Public Works Committee and Laurilliard:

 

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of Public Works has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with the Capital Region Transportation Council (CRTC) regarding the Active Transportation Technical Assistance Study in support of the Complete Streets Study in an amount not to exceed $65,000 for a term commencing April 1, 2025 and ending September 30, 2026, and

 

                     WHEREAS, CRTC will provide professional and technical services including data collection, general transportation planning, and technical assistance, now, therefore, be it

                     

RESOLVED, That the County Executive is authorized to enter an agreement with the Capital Region Transportation Council, Albany, NY 12205 regarding the Active Transportation Technical Assistance Study in support of the Complete Streets Study in an amount not to exceed $65,000 for a term commencing April 1, 2025 and ending September 30, 2026, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
