AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH CIVES CORPORATION, DBA VIKING CIVES (USA) REGARDING THE PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT PACKAGES FOR FIT UP OF FREIGHTLINER MEDIUM DUTY TRUCK CABS AND CHASSIS

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of Public Works has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Cives Corporation, dba Viking Cives (USA) regarding the purchase of equipment packages for seven Freightliner Medium Duty truck chassis in an amount not to exceed $374,275 for a term commencing June 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2026, and
WHEREAS, Cives Corporation dba Viking Cives (USA) has been contracted under the Onondaga County equipment contract, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Cives Corporation, dba Viking Cives (USA), Harrisville, NY 13648 regarding the purchase of equipment packages for seven Freightliner Medium Duty truck chassis in an amount not to exceed $374,275 for a term commencing June 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2026, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
