AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT REGARDING PROPERTY INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR THE MVP ARENA

WHEREAS, The General Manager of the MVP Arena, upon the recommendation of the contracted insurance broker, has requested authorization to enter into an agreement for property insurance coverage through Walsh Duffield Companies, Inc., and
WHEREAS, It has been recommended that the County enter into an agreement with Travelers Insurance Company for property insurance for a premium of $114,537 + $689 Fire Fee, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement through Walsh Duffield Companies, Inc. with Travelers Insurance Company for an total annual premium not to exceed $115,226 for the term commencing July 1, 2024 and ending July 1, 2025, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
