AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE NEW YORK STATE DIVISION OF HOMELAND SECURITY AND EMERGENCY SERVICES REGARDING THE FY2023 CYBERSECURITY GRANT AND AMENDING THE 2026 DIVISION OF INFORMATION SERVICES BUDGET

                     WHEREAS, The Chief Information Officer has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services to accept U.S. Department of Homeland Security funding for the FY2023 Cybersecurity Grant in the amount of $50,000 for the term commencing April 1, 2026 and ending August 31, 2027, and

 

                     WHEREAS, The Chief Information Officer has also requested authorization to amend the 2026 Division of Information Services Budget to allocate the funding, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services to accept U.S. Department of Homeland Security funding for the FY2023 Cybersecurity Grant in the amount of $50,000 for the term commencing April 1, 2026 and ending August 31, 2027, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the 2026 Division of Information Services Budget is hereby amended as follows:

 


and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
